Dr. Drew Dorschner, PT, DPT
Dr. Drew Dorschner is a dedicated physical therapist bringing personalized care to Aspen and Snowmass Colorado. Dr. Drew graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Saint John's University in Minnesota, and then went on to attend the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Duke University, graduating in 2013.
Prior to arriving to Aspen in 2020, Dr. Drew had a diverse work history spanning various states and settings - from home health and outpatient clinics, to the intensive care unit and skilled nursing facilities, he has honed his skills and expertise across the continuum of care. This broad range of experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation needs and a versatile approach to patient care across the lifespan, including pediatrics and geriatrics, which he brings to his unique mobile practice.
Dr. Drew's approach focuses on the goals of the individual mixed with an evidenced-based approach to support the client's journey in his or her return to optimal well-being. With a vast experience in orthopedics, certifications in vestibular rehabilitation and dry needling, his treatment approach is all encompassing, one that anyone from any age group, any activity level, and with any injury or impairment can benefit from.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Drew is an avid adventurer with a curiosity to see the world. Drew has traveled extensively around the globe, skiing, scuba diving, hiking and surfing while visiting over 40 countries. He grew up playing basketball, soccer, and baseball, and continues to enjoy tennis, golf, pickleball, and yoga. In 2022, Drew completed the Madison Ironman 140.6, sparking a continued enjoyment of long distance cycling and running in the local Elk Mountain Range. His love of adventure brings a fresh worldly perspective to our small mountain town. He can often be seen on top of a local 14er, strength training at the rec center, uphilling for breakfast club, or on the gondola enjoying his 100th day on the slopes.
